Single Game Survivor game

Game Rules

It is important that you read and understand these Game Rules before playing Single Game Survivor (‘Game’). By taking part in the Game, you are agreeing that you have read and agreed to these Game Rules.

Key Rules

  1. You must be 18 or over and live in the UK to play the Game.
  2. The cost of an entry is shown on the individual game card, the ‘Game Info’ tab and at the top of the picker page of the Game.
  3. You must select an answer to each of the 8 questions.
  4. Each time you get a question right, you stay in the Game.
  5. If you get a question wrong, you lose a life.
  6. If you lose 2 lives you are eliminated from the Game.
  7. To enter and play the Game we must receive your selections at least 15 minutes before the match kicks off.
  8. It is possible to edit your selections any time up until 15 minutes before the match kicks off.
  9. The maximum number of entries you can have in a Game is shown on the ‘Game Info’ tab. If you have more than one entry, each entry is separate. You may not change or swap selections from one entry to the other.
  10. If a match is delayed by more than 48 hours, we reserve the right to void the Game and all stakes will be refunded to your account within 5 working days of confirmation that the Game has been voided.
  11. If a single match incident resolves more than one question, entrants eliminated by either question are eliminated simultaneously.
  12. 12. If you lose your second life with an incorrect answer to a question which resolves at the half-time whistle, you are not considered to survive to (i.e reach) half-time and therefore do not win the half-time prize. If you lose your second life with an incorrect answer to a question which resolves at the full-time whistle, you are not considered to survive to full-time.
  13. The longest survivor is the entrant who survives the most questions before losing both their lives.

Settlement

  1. Settlement of Single Game Survivor will be determined by the match incident timings provided by Enetpulse’s data (See Match Incidents & Data).
  2. Please be aware that the Game DOES NOT END AT THE FINAL WHISTLE in the fixture. The Game ends when all match incidents, progression, survival, eliminations, and winnings are settled at the earliest of
  • 30 minutes from the Game finishing (“Settlement”); or
  • 5 days from the Game finishing if Network Gaming identifies a material technical error and/or omission.
  1. At Settlement, no further incoming data or updates are processed, meaning all match incidents and prize payouts awarded in Single Game Survivor are final. All finishing positions and prize payouts are also final at this time.

 Match Incidents & Data

  1. If a player (i.e a footballer) used in one of the 8 questions is not included in the matchday squad, any entrant who had selected him will be given one of the remaining options/players at random.
  2. Match incidents are determined using a live data feed supplied by a third party data provider, Enetpulse.
  3. The specific data feed powering the Game is known as “Enetpulse sports data API” data feed (https://enetpulse.com/sports-data-api/).
  4. We make no modifications whatsoever to the incoming Enetpulse data.
  5. We are not responsible for the content of the incoming Enetpulse data and have no liability for any errors, omissions or inaccuracies it may contain.
  6. If Enetpulse sends new or updated information and/or Network Gaming identifies a technical error, match incidents and their impact upon survival may be updated at any time prior to Settlement.
  7. For knockout football, incidents which occur during extra-time are included in the Game.
  8. For player related questions, only the players listed have any bearing on the result of the question. By way of example: “Which of these players will be first to take two shots?” You will survive if you pick the correct player from the options to take two shots first. If another player, who is not listed as an option, takes two shots first this will have no bearing on the result of that question. If none of the listed players take two shots during the match, all entrants survive the question.
  9. A penalty kick taken during normal or extra-time counts as a shot and a shot on target (if applicable). Penalty kicks taken during a penalty shoot-out do not count as shots nor goals. But please note rule 30 relating to “Cards”.
  10. Shots leading to goals are always counted as having happened before the goal.
  11. Disallowed goals do not count as goals nor shots.
  12. Shots that are blocked by anybody other than the goalkeeper or last defender are counted as shots but not shots on target.
  13. Only players in the matchday squad are included in questions relating to yellow or red cards (“Cards”). Managers or support staff Cards will not be included.
  14. Please note that Cards awarded at any time during the match (and/or before Settlement) count towards questions relating to Cards.
  15. Decisions made by the Video Assistant Referee (“VAR”) are included in the data provided by Enetpulse. If VAR overturns an on-field decision, this would result in the updating or deletion of any associated match incidents, and possibly any match incidents that occurred in a passage of play that is nullified by the VAR decision.
  16. An example of this might be a VAR decision to award a penalty when play has continued on-field. When the referee then awards the penalty, any match incidents that have occurred between the offence that led to the penalty and the referee awarding the penalty will be deleted. The exception to this would be any Cards that are shown in that passage of play, as the governing bodies (e.g. the FA) deem this offence to stand regardless of the VAR decision.
  17. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all live data, match incidents and survival in the Game. Given the “In Play” nature of each Game, there may be times when the match incidents reported by Enetpulse and/or Network Gaming differ from the match incidents as interpreted by users, media outlets or other data providers.
  18. In situations where match incidents in a fixture are interpreted or reported differently by other users, media outlets or data providers, the interpretation of these match incidents as determined by Enetpulse at Settlement will be final and Network Gaming will pay out prizes accordingly.
  19. No dialogue or correspondence will be entered into regarding match incidents reported by Network Gaming and the entrants survival or elimination in relation to them. By playing the Game, you accept that the match incidents and survival or elimination awarded by Network Gaming are final.

Miscellaneous

  1. Network Gaming and their affiliates reserve the right to void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Game where it becomes necessary to do so. We may also amend or withdraw any element of the Game for reasons beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strike, lock-out, labour dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, public health concern in relation to potential infection, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation. Network Gaming and their affiliates are not responsible for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of any of these occurrences.
  2. As stated in the Terms of Service, the Game is brought to you by Network Gaming.

Prizes

  1. Prize Pool – you are competing to win a share of the ‘pool’ of prize money generated by the total entry fees minus our Commission (see rule 10 below) as set out in the Prize Pool split (see rule 4 below).
  2. The Prize Pool will increase as more people enter the Game, once the minimum Prize Pool is reached (minimum prize pools for each Game are displayed on the Game card, the Game Info tab and the Game picker page before the Game goes live). For example, if 1,000 entrants enter the Game and each entrant buys one entry, the Prize Pool will be £4,000 (total entry fees minus our Commission). Please note that we may run promotions from time to time offering free entries to help grow the Prize Pool.
  3. The Game will settle and pay out (see Settlement in the Game Rules page) after the final whistle of the match, which includes Extra-Time and Penalty Shootouts for knockout football (“Full-Time”). The winner(s) will be the entrant(s) who survive the longest in the Game (subject to rules 4-8 below).
  4. When the Game is settled (see Settlement on the Game Rules page), the Prize Pool will be split as follows:
  • 50% for entrants surviving to half-time.
  • 50% for final surviving entrant(s), unless rule 5 applies where it will be 100%
  1. BEFORE HALF-TIME: if the last remaining entrants are all eliminated in the same round before half-time, 100% of the Prize Pool will be shared equally amongst all the surviving entrants from the previous round.
  2. AT HALF-TIME: if you survive the first half of the match (i.e you reach half-time), you will receive an equal share of 50% of the Prize Pool.
  3. AFTER HALF-TIME: if the last remaining entrants are all eliminated in the same round after half-time, 50% of the Prize Pool will be shared equally amongst all the surviving entrants from the previous round.
  4. AT FULL-TIME: if the last remaining entrants successfully survive the whole match (including any events that resolve at the final whistle) 50% of the Prize Pool will be shared equally amongst all the surviving entrants.
  5. Confirmation of any prizes will be confirmed after the fixture is finished and the Game has been settled (see Settlement in the Game Rules page). During the Game live prizes are shown, which include your share of the pot for surviving to half-time and your share of the pot for being final survivor(s). These amounts shown in the Game are provisional estimates of what you will win.
  6. Commission: 20% of the entry fees go to Network Gaming.
  7. All payouts will be made into your wallet within 5 working days of the Game being settled.
